Common Questions

When does my data plan start? +
Your data plan activates the moment your eSIM connects to a Korean mobile network. That's why we recommend installing it at home but keeping it switched off until you land โ€” so you're not counting down your days while still in Australia.
Can I reinstall the eSIM on a different phone? +
No โ€” each eSIM QR code is single-use and device-specific. Once installed on a phone, it cannot be transferred to another device. If you change phones before your trip, please contact us at hello@roamiekim.com as soon as possible.
Can I get a refund after installing? +
Once an eSIM has been installed and activated, it cannot be refunded. If you have not yet installed your eSIM and need to cancel, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Data Roaming is on but I have no internet. What do I do? +
Try these steps in order: (1) Toggle airplane mode on, wait 10 seconds, then off again. (2) Go to Network Selection and manually select SKT or KT. (3) Restart your phone. If still no luck, email us at hello@roamiekim.com.
Can I use my regular phone number while using the Korea eSIM? +
Yes! Your regular SIM stays active for calls and texts on your home number. The eSIM is data-only. Just set your Default Voice Line to your regular SIM and Cellular Data to the Korea eSIM.
I'm visiting multiple countries. Which plan should I use? +
Roamie Kim's eSIM plans are designed for South Korea only. If you're visiting Japan, Taiwan, or other countries on the same trip, you'll need a regional eSIM for those destinations. Our Korea eSIM will work perfectly for your time in Korea โ€” just switch it off when you leave.
